Just A Bank Holiday August 2018 Curated by Paul Hillery

It’s a Bank Holiday weekend here in the UK and looking out of the rain splattered windows here at Folk Funk Towers I notice we seem to be back to normality. A watery grey sky and the smell of ozone damp rain through the open window mixed with the unmistakable aroma of a nag champa incense stick and Vietnamese coffee ~ Paul Hillery 08 2018
Enjoy the sounds from my vinyl collection including Jerry Scott, Hamid El Shaeri, Jimmy Ponder and the great Bobby Hart who’s biography I’m reading at the moment, the man who wrote the songs that outsold the Beatles and the Rolling Stones in 1967-1968, one half of the team that kickstarted the Monkees into stardom. Psychedelic Bubble Gum is well worth a read.
I hope you enjoy this mornings selections, a nice chilled start and picking up pace as we go on. Leave comments and share if you dig.
