There was nothing I liked better than a challenge. Something to really push my abilities to their limits. Something to make me not only amaze a client, but also myself. Something that once finished, I could step back from and smile a great big proud smile at.

Because that’s what it’s all about. Yes, I’ve got the degree, over 30 years industry experience, a comprehensive knowledge of UX, and yes, I’ve got the skills you’d expect from any commercial graphic designer worth their salt. That’s all a given. What sets me apart from others though is my drive and passion to innovate, to take a clients ideas and aspirations and not only meet them, but surpass them far beyond their expectations.

I’ve often found that the best way to go about this is to talk. It’s something a lot of us take for granted, because we do it all the time – but I never underestimate the power of communication. Whether liaising with clients, presenting to individuals or groups, or brainstorming with fellow colleagues, my communication skills and wry sense of humour often get the best out of people. And when that starts happening, you know you’re going to end up with some truly stunning rand measurable results.

But due to life I’m taking a break from any new work.
