A brand new eclectic mix in three parts. It’s a right ol’ jumble of stuff so hope you dig it. It was originally going to be my mix CD for the verygoodplus forum Xmas swap but I have decided to go with something different for that.

While curating this mix I found a box of 45’s I had forgotten about. It was filled with 45’s I had mostly purchased from the independent record shop in my home town; Spinadisc. So that will be uploaded around Xmas as a treat. 45’s on labels like Rocket Girl, Amberley, Awkward Silence, Kooky, Active Suspension, Static Caravan, Motorway, Warp to name 8. Keep your ears open for that one to drop around Xmas.

Summerhaze is a very different Australian ensemble. Formed by composer Cathie O’Sullivan in 1986, the group has attracted considerable attention for it’s innovative music and refreshing style of performance. The music of Summerhaze reflects the ever-changing mood of Australian music and successfully brings together familiar old sounds and startling new sounds. This album, the groups second, has many moods and it can rightfully claim to represent Australian music in the twentieth century.
