A post featuring the photography of Ardila. An extremely talented fotógrafo based out of Barcelona, Spain, Ardila.

The beautiful images here were inspired by the work of the illustrator Pierre Mornet. Mornet’s beautiful paintings combine vintage-inspired realism with bold, flat colors.

Ardila explained to me the finished artwork named ‘Le journal du Mornet’ was achieved part make up, very large light sources, and post production to lift the blacks.

The results, I think you’ll agree, are truly breathtaking.
